Above all, it’s hard learning to live with vivid mental images of scenes I cared for and failed to photograph.
It is the edgy existence within me of these unmade images that is the only assurance that the best photographs are yet to be made.
Една важна година бележи нова епоха. 1826г. е рождената дата на фотографията. Светът преди и след нея е съвсем различен, променен и с напредването на технологиите, светът все повече се стреми да подражава на образите, а не обратното. Снимките отдавна не са просто отпечатък, а са доведени до ранга на продължение на реалността. Черно-бялата фотография е, разбира се, основата на усета за светлината, нейното дозиране, улавяне и насочване.
